About Us
Little World for Scholars is family owned and operated. Our vision is to provide children with the best start to life through quality education and care. We believe that Active Learning enables children to learn through play. We value each and every child’s needs and ensure we do everything that we can to cater for each individual. From soccer lessons to dancing classes, our Little World children are provided with the best start to a happy and healthy life.
Our Philosophy
At Little World for Scholars we endeavour to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop. Positive and respectful relationships with children and their families are crucial to the quality, inclusive implementation of the educational program at Little World for Scholars. Educators acknowledge that every family and child is unique and that it is through a positive partnership with parents/carers that their child’s needs are met in our Early Childhood setting.
Our educational program reflects the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia Belonging, Being and Becoming as well as a play-based approach to learning. It is based on the view that children are capable beings, who learn best when their interests and voices form the basis of the educational program.
Educators endeavour to actively promote and embed healthy lifestyles, sustainable practices and cultural awareness at Little World for Scholars through respectful communication, intentional teaching and role modelling.
Educators at Little World for Scholars are committed to ensuring that policies and educational practices reflect current research and best practice. This is maintained through regular engagement with professional development opportunities, regular staff meetings and reflective practices.
Our Director
Hi, my name is Chandni Kapoor and I am the Approved Provider /Director of Little world for scholars .
I have attained Masters of Teaching from Griffith University in 2009 and have been working in the Early Childhood industry for the past 15years.
My own beliefs about early childhood education are based upon the knowledge that children’s growth is developmental. It seems very clear to me that a high quality early childhood program must provide a safe and nurturing environment which promotes a broad spectrum of support for the child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Children are unique individuals who may or may not reflect the usual characteristics of other children of their same age.
I am very motivated person with strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate working relationships with the community. I believe in the proverb “it takes a village to raise a child”, and by building a strong and protective community that your child can depend on helps with their sense of self, wellbeing and feelings of safety.
