Our Philosophy
At Little World for Scholars, we endeavour to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop. Positive, respectful relationships between children, families and educators are crucial to the quality, and the community form the foundation of high-quality, inclusive early childhood education.
We recognise that each child and family is unique, bringing their own strengths, cultures, experiences, and perspectives
Our educational program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework – Belonging, Being & Becoming and embraces a play-based, child-led approach . We believe children are capable learners whose interests, ideas, and voices shape their learning journey.
Educators endeavour to actively promote and embed healthy lifestyles, sustainable practices and cultural awareness at Little World for Scholars through respectful communication, intentional teaching and role modelling.
We source and invite local community Groups to share learning opportunities and links to enrich our cultural competency within the centre.
A strong child-safe culture is central to our work. We ensure that every child feels valued, respected, and protected by upholding their rights, prioritising wellbeing, and maintaining safe, high-quality practices in collaboration with families.
Educators engage in ongoing professional learning, reflective discussions, and regular collaboration to continuously strengthen the quality and safety of our service.
At Little World for Scholars, we honour our responsibility to create a community where children feel safe, supported, valued, and empowered—every day, in every interaction.
Our Director
Hi, my name is Chandni Kapoor and I am the Approved Provider /Director of Little world for scholars .
I have attained Masters of Teaching from Griffith University in 2009 and have been working in the Early Childhood industry for the past 15years.
My own beliefs about early childhood education are based upon the knowledge that children’s growth is developmental. It seems very clear to me that a high quality early childhood program must provide a safe and nurturing environment which promotes a broad spectrum of support for the child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Children are unique individuals who may or may not reflect the usual characteristics of other children of their same age.
I am very motivated person with strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate working relationships with the community. I believe in the proverb “it takes a village to raise a child”, and by building a strong and protective community that your child can depend on helps with their sense of self, wellbeing and feelings of safety.
